A Meal in a Bowl


Most of my kitchen experiments end up in a bowl. Though it isn’t the traditionally preferred method of eating, I find I am drawn to one-dish meals. I suppose there is something non-fussy about them; a balance of all the necessary dietary components brought together in a single stew, curry, casserole or soup. Today’s quick fix was a Mutton and Black Mushroom Stew, sloppily strewn over Rice Vermicelli.
